Everyone needs a back to basics approach from time to time and with our team of experienced bartenders, you won’t miss a beat. A cocktail is no longer just two ingredients mixed together to form pretty colours. Each cocktail has its own heritage and history that has to be understood. A good cocktail will always tell you a good story.

A re-introduction to the exciting world of cocktails and flair, providing a practical foundation in the mechanics of mixology and cocktail preparation.

Syllabus

Spirit & cocktail Tasting

An introduction to the world of bartending and a guide to tasting the right way while learning to understand the differences between alcohol.

Basic cocktail making techniques

Learn methods of cocktail preparation including; Stirring, Shaking, Layering, Muddling.

Prepare and make a range of classic and contemporary cocktails including

In any bar, knowledge of the basic cocktails are part of the job description. Collins, Sours, Mojitos, Martinis etc. are some of the classic and innovative cocktails we will be teaching you to make.

Also learn the basic know-how and feel of how it is to be behind a bar

Bartending Coordination, Skill and Basic bar Tricks
Customer service skills and knowledge
Learn how to use, setup, breakdown and clean the bar and all equipment
Proper presentation, garnishes, making mixers and more!
